EARTH WATCH & BLESST COMMUNITY ENVIRONMENT PROJECT

Connected Communities: Tackling environmental injustice through co-created citizen science. To address this, we need to increase engagement with under-represented groups and devise solutions collaboratively. Through Connected Communities (CC) Earthwatch will work with Community Partner Organisations (CPOs) across four cities.
We will use our joint expertise in community engagement and citizen science to connect under-represented groups with nature and use our citizen science platform, Earthwatchers, to deliver environmental improvement. Taking a co-created
approach, we will consider local needs, practices and cultures to identify
environmental issues, whilst delivering tangible solutions
via six identified pathways that lead to
environmental improvement.
